Unsharp Falls

I think this means that once you get something going, it’s difficult to stop. It gathers it’s own momentum

New Church Building Design

img001img002The idea here is to get the maximum room and exposure to outside for the worshipers inside the church as possible. It is a space age style design and should be relatively easy to construct. The rays cast by the stained glass or coloured window will shine down on the congregation and they can choose what goes in there by checking with the effect it will have

Near or Far Apart – Philosophy

So, I was thinking. Battering my walking pole down on the ground, time after time. The ground is hard. It provides a shield, the appearance of a solid mass. From what I know, the earth´s core is molten, liquid; so it is in fact a shield to what is beneath. It is only a barrier, I reasoned, to the extent that we are unable to permeate it. If my aim is to perfect the tools that allow me to shatter the layer beneath my feet, then perhaps I will be successful. We have always been gouging at the ground, ploughing, more recently mining.

But what it amounts to I reflected, is really the distance between things. The space between gas molecules in the air is such that I can progress through without the appearance of any resistance whatsoever. So if this were applied to solids, and we could find a way of seperating out the particles. This would be the solution to movement…I suppose heat is the way this is done most elementally.

Perhaps, in complete space, we could move freely at speeds approaching the magical, unobtainable speed of light.

Anyway, it all seems to be about how far apart things are. In terms of energy. Perhaps we are working, using energy to draw things together or to move them apart. This is the great part of our work on the planet,

Psychology. New Metaphor. Switch On/Switch Off Parenting

I like my lamp analogy too….maybe they could use it in psychology.  I am conscious that you can discover things. So maybe this is a ‘discovery’. You put your metaphorical hand into the beam and there is an immediate reaction from your ‘big’. A freezing where you can’t move a millimetre without provoking a response – you are within the field of vision of your controller who is acutely aware of everything you do and more importantly reacts to it in an exaggerated fashion. When you remove yourself from the beam you are left, as a child,  to fumble in the darkness. To make up your own world without the ‘tagging’ of guidance or someone to set limits or sanctions on your conduct. What should this be called? It’s a weak/failed parental mechanism. Switch on/Switch Off parenting? People are switch on…switch off but they also. alongside this, just expect things to be o.k. Maybe we have trouble with authority as adults because of this?

All the best,
